Getting into marathon plan

Its been a good week. Only the second week in to marathon training proper, but I completed 25 miles over 5 efforts and had some good efforts in there.

4 miles on Monday, 5 miles Wednesday, the Wedding Day 7 k race on Friday, Kingston Parkrun on Saturday and an 8 mile long run around Richmond Park on Sunday. I was a bit tired on the long run today, haven’t been over 6 miles for a while. But avrage slightly under 10mm pace which was on plan. Good positives too. The Wedding Day 7k in 36.51 was about 30 seconds above expectation 25.26 at Kingston parkrun just 1 second outside this years course pb.

Plenty to go for, plenty to aim at. Also a good weekend because we firmed up on the Friday course measurement for the Cabbage Patch 10 in October. Details to follow soon on the CP10 website.
